Skin imperfections, blemishes and pimples affect us all, which is why we’ve come up with so many natural treatments and pharmaceutical products to help us care for facial skin. But what happens when the problems are bigger and you suffer from acne? You can visit a dermatologist and spend a lot of money on medications, creams and ointments, or you can create your own home remedies for acne. You can opt for both choices, but you will be amazed how many treatments you can make yourself at home and how efficient they are.
Though you are not aware, you probably already have some remedies for acne in your home. Grapes are a great way to clean the face; take a couple, cut them in the middle and massage the fleshy part on your facial skin and neck, rinsing with some fresh water afterwards. Though most women should probably know this one already, it may be news to the guys: cucumber masks. You can either apply thin slices of cucumber on your face, or you can mash one with a cup of oatmeal until it becomes a paste; one teaspoon of the mix combined with one tsp. of yoghurt should be enough to cover the whole face; after 30 minutes, you can rinse.
There are countless home remedies for acne, and why not try most of them since they are so cheap and readily available? Surely everyone has a little honey in the pantry, and here’s what you can do with it. After washing your face gently with warm water to open the pores, apply a thin layer of honey, leaving in on for 30 minutes. Afterwards, rinse with warm water and then cold water to close the pores back. If you suffer from acne, you probably have oily skin, which is prone to pimples and black spots. One of the best home remedies for acne and oily skin is the yogurt and yeast mask. You mix one teaspoon of yeast with one teaspoon of regular yogurt and you apply the composition on the most affected areas, leaving for 15-20 minutes. Again you rinse with warm water and complete with cool water to close the pores.
One of our favorite home remedies for acne was the egg and lemon facial mask which is suitable for any skin type. You take half a lemon and squeeze it over one beaten egg white; you mix them well together then apply on the face and leave the mask over night. When you wake up, you can rinse the face with warm water and enjoy the differences.
